Inca House

Posted on 30th May 2019

Inca House

Clontarf, Dublin 3

Seamless transition between inside and outside

The existing house had not been extended and presented an opportunity to add a new space to the rear to provide a new family kitchen living and dining space. The garden and terrace was as important as the internal spaces and needed to give a space to sit and eat outside. There was a need to make the transition between inside and out as seamless as possible. The use of slim glazing and a canopy roof allowed for different external spaces, whilst adding a picture frame uninterrupted view of the garden.
